PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - When the Providence College Friars men's basketball team needs a big shot late in the game, they turn to senior guard Sharaud Curry.
Curry is averaging 15.5 points-per-game for the season, but has increased his production to just over 18 points-per-game in conference play.
He's scored over 1,400 points in his college career which places him in the Top 20 All-Time at PC.
"I don't really pay much attention to it," Curry said. "Winning games and helping these young guys any way I can, and if I have a big scoring night, that's great. But I try not to think about it too much."
Coach Keno Davis feels honored to have been Curry's coach these past two seasons.
"Being a fifth-year senior, he brings a calmness to the team in tough situations," Davis said. "He's able to knock down the big shot."
