PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The Providence College men's hockey team held off the Brown Bears to gain a 4-3 victory in the Mayor's Cup Monday at Schneider Arena.
Providence actually went up 4-1 early in the game, and then had to stop Brown's comeback attempt.
PC outshot the Bears 38-27.
Goalie Alex Beudry racked up 24 saves for the Friars. Mike Clemente had 33 saves for Brown.
