(WPRI) - The Community College of Rhode Island fell 70-60 to Mott Community College in the NJCAA Division II National Championship game on Saturday.

Desmond Williams, who scored 41 points in the semifinal game on Friday, led the way with 16 points and 6 rebounds.

Rogerio Livramento also made big contributions with a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds).  Both Williams and Livramento were named to the all-tournament team.

Mott was led by two twenty point scorers, John Taylor and Ralph Eason, who carried the team to victory.

CCRI finishes the season at 31-5, the highest win total for the team in school history.
