Tony Allen sits out with ankle injury

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Boston Celtics guard Tony Allen missed Tuesday night's game against Charlotte with a right ankle injury.

Allen was injured in Sunday's loss to New York and did not participate in the team's shootaround before their game against the Bobcats. A team official said Allen would be evaluated in Boston to determine if he'll be able to play Wednesday against Houston.

Allen is averaging 7.9 points and 2.1 rebounds.
