(WPRI) - North Kingstown's Elizabeth Beisel continued her string of successes in the pool Friday at the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Irvine, Calif.
Beisel won the 200 meter backstroke with a time of 2:07:83 just ahead of American Elizabeth Pelton.
The win is Beisel's second of the meet after taking gold in the 400 meter individual medley Thursday.
