PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The Target 12 Investigators were there exclusively as the Providence Retirement Board decides to revoke the pension of disgraced former Police Chief Urbano Prignano. That decision happened at a meeting Wednesday morning.
The seven to five vote was announced after a heated debate. The former chief was not at the hearing.
You may recall Prignano was involved in a police department testing scandal. So far, he's collected about 400,000 dollars from his pension.
