SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - A man allowed to possess marijuana under the state's medical marijuana law has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges, two years after being accused of luring teenage girls to his trailer to smoke pot.

Steven Trimarco, of Exeter, pleaded guilty Friday to two counts of possessing marijuana with intent to deliver. He was given a year in prison.

Trimarco was arrested in 2006. Police accused him of using his MySpace page to attract teenagers to use the drug with him.

Police found 71 marijuana plants, four guns and a silencer in his trailer.

Trimarco was allowed to grow 12 marijuana plants under the state's 2006 medical marijuana law, which allows patients with certain debilitating illnesses to ease their pain by using the drug.
