Play resumed Tuesday for the final day of the CVS Caremark Charity Classic. Some of the best golfers in the world competed to help raise money for local charities.
The annual tournament has raised more than $15 million since it was started in 1999.
One of the charities benefiting this year is Youth Pride, which was awarded $25,000 when their representative won the "Closest to the pin charity contest".
Youth Pride helps provide support, advocacy and education for youths impacted by sexual orientation issues.
"We were so excited. I called our staff, I called our board of directors. Its been a really tough year in terms of funding and support from CVS really goes a long way", said Kerri Kanelos of Youth Pride, Inc.
Golf fans are also benefiting from this yearly event.
Rhode Island Country Club pros were also on hand to help dish out some golf game improvement advice.
They recommend finding a licensed P.G.A pro in your area and booking a private lesson to get the most amount of game improving advice.
