(WPRI) - A new book is causing some controversy! It's called "The End of Men", and claims women are better at adapting to modern society than men!

The issue is touching some nerves, bringing up the question: "are men really necessary?" The book argues that traditional gender roles are out-dated and that families are relying on working women more than ever.

The author, Hanna Rosin, says men are having a more difficult time adapting to changes in this economy than women, who are now surpassing men both in the workplace and at home.
