Viewer dines with Rhode Show co-hosts

The Rhode Show recently posted a contest on WPRI.com to win a lunch at Top of the Bay Restaurant with the co-hosts. W ill Gilbert, Michaela Johnson and Mary Larsen sat down with the winner to share a tasty meal.

"I remember entering the contest. I am not sure how long ago it was. But, I was on the WPRI website, and I saw the contest opportunity and i am a big contest applicant," said Lynn Owens of Warwick.

Lynn entered the on-line contest not knowing if she would be the lucky winner.

"I do not win anything. And, I was a little caught off guard when I got the phone call." 

She planned to invite her boss to see if she could get an extended lunch. This was not Lynn’s first time at Top of the Bay.

"I am a big fan of Top of the Bay. We live in Warwick and we frequent the restaurant."

Lynn suggested a few of her favorites on the menu.

"Well, we come here for the clam cakes and the chowder. But, everything is good, everything is good."

Lynn wasn't kidding. Will Gilbert agreed, and said everything was amazing. From the calamari, lobster roll, and more, the view from the patio and the meal where perfect.

"It was great to meet all of the hosts and the weather is beautiful down here. So it was a great day, good food, good company," said Lynn.

Top of the Bay is a great place to eat for lunch or dinner.

"The restaurant, the service was wonderful. The atmosphere is very nice. Great location. Good food. Very nice all around." You can bet she will be back, She'll be back, yes, we'll be back."
