The Jack-O-Lantern spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo is officially open to the public!
The spectacular is an amazing display of 5,000 illuminated jack-o-lanterns with about 125 of them carved into beautiful works of art.
These pumpkins are presented along the park’s Wetland Trail and is themed with scenes and music that people from all over New England come to enjoy.
This year’s event is titled “All the World’s a Stage,” and features scenes from both classic and popular movies, Broadway plays, and television series. This year even includes a Lord of the Rings section, as well as an amazing Titanic scene.
A different section is all about man’s best friend, with carved pumpkins centered around multiple dog breeds.
There’s also the kids section filled with childhood favorites.
To conclude the trail is the Laughing Tree display, comprised of hundreds of pumpkins of every size and “laughing” music sure to make you smile.
During the past two years, over 100,000 people attended the show.
The spectacular was recently selected by the American Bus Association as one of the 100 top destinations in the nation for 2013!
