The Buzz: Study breaks down rip-offs

(WPRI) - What do you consider to be the biggest waste of money? According to a British study people felt they get the least value for their money when purchasing birthday cards, takeout pizza and stamps. One in four cannot stand having to fork out for a colleague's birthday.
    
The study also found that people hate spending their money on everyday bills and car maintenance. Some other rips-offs on the list included: printer cartridges, videogame consoles, drinks at the bar, prescriptions, jeans and ladies' haircuts.
