The Buzz: Fans react to spoiler alerts

(WPRI)- Spoiler alert! Tuesday afternoon USA Gymnastics tweeted about the "fab five's" gold medal win. Within minutes, Twitter and Facebook feeds and countless news websites were flooded with congratulations and stories about the feat. It's the first time the women's team had won gold since the 1996 games.
    
For many, it didn't matter that they already knew the outcome, while others were angry that people shared the results before the television broadcast.

NBC also spoiled its own broadcast earlier this week, teasing Missy Franklin's win before it had aired. Executives later said the promo had not been screened before airing.
