Designer spotlight: Camille Jeanay

StyleWeek continues in the capital city where regional designers are able to showcase their collections on the runway. Designer, Camille Jeanay, showed her looks on Wednesday night.

This was Jeanay’s first runway show in Providence.

“I had an amazing experience, really smooth. The models were really nice, the StyleWeek team was very hands-on and I really loved it. The audience loved every piece and I was just really happy to be able to be a part of it” said Jeanay.

The inspiration for her looks come from a variety of things.

“I like animal print so I have a lot of animal prints in a lot of my piece” Jeanay said.

In addition, she incorporates sequins to add a sparkle to her clothes. The combination gave her the name of her line ‘Safari Ablaze’.
