PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – StyleWeek NorthEast is now underway at the Providence Biltmore.

All week, up-and-coming designers from the region will show off their creations on the runway.

StyleWeek NorthEast teamed up with Providence Media this season and put together a magazine called "The Look".

The magazine gives behind the scenes access to all of the shows.

“There are fourteen designer profiles and an overview of what’s happening during StyleWeek," said Jonathan Joseph Peters, Designer & Creative Director of StyleWeek. "There’s a piece about the seed event that they do, and a couple shopping pages for the designer showcase.”

“We really love what StyleWeek does, we’ve been supporters since the very beginning," said Julie Tremaine, Executive Editor of Providence Media. "We had this idea that this could support its own media. Let’s take what you see on the runway and make it so you can see it all the time."

This year’s StyleWeek has made up of half veteran designers and half new designers, which will bring a lot of new and exciting things to the runway.

“We created something that New England hasn’t seen: more fashion forward, taking chances, and showing people all the talent that is here in the Northeast,” stated Peters.
