A look at New York Fashion Week trends

With mom blogger Audrey McClelland

Audrey McClelland, of Mom Generations , went to New York to check out Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2013.  She joinedThe Rhode Show to talk about the trends at stores and for fashionistas next year.

Next spring will continue to see big pops of color, especially blues and corals. Greatly seen were bold colorful dresses, which Audrey says can be pulled off my any woman at any age.

Delicate and sexy lace rocked the runway models as well, particularly black lace. Of course, spring and summer bring flowers, so youthful floral prints graced the runway as pants and blouses. Patterns in general  made a statement in Fashion Week.

Crisp whites made a splash, in dresses, slacks, blazers, and skirts. Nudes are going to be very hot in spring 2013 as well, especially as dresses.
