For many mothers, looking your best day to day can be tiring with the responsibilities of being a full-time mom. If you fall into this category, local mom blogger and mother of four Audrey McClelland can be of help! She shared her must-have beauty products for every Rhode Island momma in need of a little touch up.
“Moms do need help, said McClelland. "We have very limited time.”
This past weekend, McClelland hosted a CVS beauty event for 600 mom bloggers in New York City to promote products that are affordable, accessible, and most importantly, make one feel beautiful. She shared these beauty products on The Rhode Show set Wednesday.
“We just wanted to show them how you can be fashionable and feel beautiful really on a budget, but also in very limited time,” said McClelland.
For her first beauty must-have, McClelland showcased the Not Your Mother’s hair styling products that can help style and shape any momma’s hair.
“…the dry shampoo, which I live for, said McClelland. This is so easy. I don’t have time to wash my hair every single day, so I do rely on dry shampoo. I feel like it’s a mom’s secret.”
Besides her CVS foundation of choice, McClelland shared with Rhode Show mammas her picks for lotions that smell great and children enjoy.
“ This is Essence of Beauty , right from CVS, said McClelland. "I love this and it smells delicious.”
To keep her face clean and moisturized, McClelland said she buys Olay face cleansing products, which not only work, but are set at affordable prices.
“You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on cream, said McClelland. You can get stuff for your face that is going to feel good and keep it moisturized.”
According to McClelland, the bargains on beauty can even continue if you become a CVS Beauty Club member .
“…even at CVS Beauty Club, if you buy $50 worth of product, you get $5 back in extra care rewards,” said McClelland.
Other than the right beauty products for Rhode Island moms, McClelland has some advice for mothers who want to feel and look beautiful every day.
“The really quick, easy tips you just have to work into your routine,” said McClelland.
