Beauty queen looks: From day to night

With Calma Salon

With summer in full swing, you may be tempted to spend more nights out after work. But, just how easy is it to take your look from day to night?

Denise Marchetti from Calma Salon joined The Rhode Show to demonstrate some easy look changes.

Calma Salon is the official beauty salon for Miss Rhode Island and Miss Teen Rhode Island for both the Miss USA and Miss America pageants, as well as Mrs. Rhode Island.

Taking a soft, daytime, office look to a sexy, more glamorous look:

  • Incorporate a "winged eye liner". This is very trendy right now.
  • Softly press lipstick onto the lip for a more modern "stained" look.
  • Add some blush, concealer and highlighter to complete the night time look.

Day to night hair trends:

  • Incorporate some of the newer trends that you see on the celebrities into a day to night time look like the "messy top bun" for day hair and the "loose, long, soft curls with volume" for the nighttime hair style.
