PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Growing up most people loved music class in school, but for the kids at Meeting Street music class has even more of a special meaning.

Each week the kids in the fourth grade at Meeting Street look forward to music class, and Will Gilbert was able to go along with them.

The music teacher at the school believes her job is one of the most rewarding jobs she could every have.

"It is it is! When I first came here I said WOW this could be anything soup to nuts. Did a lot of observation and saw that there are so many different abilities here. So, I started to see the children just help each other. So there are many, many times were the hardest thing about class is trying not to cry because what you see is very, very beautiful," said Sandy Winters, music teacher Meeting Street School.

Not only does the teacher love it, but so do the kids. Music class at Meeting Street has become one of the kids favorite things to do and one of the most fun!

One of the most amazing things about Meeting Street is the inclusion of everyone.

"There are senses of humor and the kids joke with each other and they except each other um unconditionally. They each value themselves. I see the self esteem growing. The girls who were singing would not have done that a year ago," said Sandy Winters, music teacher at Meeting Street School.
