The Super Bowl is just days away, and for the thousands of fans who will be watching it from the comfort of their home, here are some tips to make it even more comfortable.
Everyone wants to watch the game on a big screen TV, and if you do not already own one, the next best thing you can do is rent a TV! There are many places in Rhode Island and Massachusetts that will offer free delivery, free instillation, and free pickup for a 24-hour period. Prices have generally been ranging from $200-$400, depending upon what size you choose.
If you do decide to rent, make sure to ask about the insurance policy. You’ll want to first check to see if your home owners insurance policy will cover possible damages. If not, it may be a smart move to pay the approximate $100 for insurance.
In addition to televisions, you can also rent furniture. Make sure that before it comes off the truck that you have inspected the pieces for scratches and tears and most importantly, bed bugs.
The government is cracking down on counterfeit merchandise. If you want authentic gear, you will need to make sure to buy it at licensed retailers. Go to stores that sport the NFL logo.
Also, if you are deciding to purchase some last minute tickets, make sure to get them from a credible website like StubHub or Ticketmaster. Always use Paypal or a credit card, and know about scalping laws in your state, because legally, people are not allowed to sell or purchased tickets far above face value.
