RIBX: educational and networking event

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - If you own your own business or you are interested in networking, then you need to be at the Rhode Island Business Expo (RIBX) next week.

The RIBX is an impactful one-day business show with a kick-off party the night before.

The event will include innovators, entrepreneurs, and companies that are driving economic change. Most events are free with a business card.

There will be speakers throughout the day, including WPRI’s own Ted Nesi, political blogger and WPRI.com reporter .  Other speakers include:

• Mel Robbins, host of A & E Monster In Laws
• Dr. Nicholas Perna, Webster Bank Economic Advisor
• Dan Hurley, URI Men’s Basketball Coach

The kick-off bash and ribbon cutting will officially open the event on Wednesday May 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Admission will be $10.

The Exhibition will be held Thursday May 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
