Rhode Island Monthly's 19th annual Best of Rhode Island Party celebrating more than 300 of this year's winners will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012.

The party will kick off at the first ever pre-party at the new PPAC Square from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and anyone with a party ticket will be admitted for free.

There will be award-winning burgers, fries and grilled cheese from Little Billy’s food truck, Italian cuisine from Angelo’s Civita Farnese and frozen lemonade from Del’s Lemonade served to guests at the pre-party. And along with this great cuisine, live entertainment will be available for guests to enjoy at the Square

At 6:30 sharp, the real party will start inside the beautiful Providence Performing Arts Center, and will go until 9:30 p.m. Guests can expect to be wined and dined with unlimited food provided by caterers and restaurants such as CAV, Chelo’s, Cozy Caterers, Gregg’s, Jacky’s Galaxie, and The Melting Pot. The drinks will include, but not be limited to Grey Goose martinis, various wines and Narragansett Beer.

Dancing is also an option at the Best of Rhode Island Party, and guests can enjoy a dance on stage to live music performed by the East Side Horns.

Silent auction packages, a "Best Of" raffle basket, giveaways and more surprises will be in store for guests at this memorable event!

The Providence Performing Arts Center is located in Providence on 220 Weybosset Street. If interested in purchasing tickets, they are $50 per person or you can buy five tickets and get the sixth one for free. This price includes all food and drinks, and tickets may be purchased online at RIMonthly.com, or through the PPAC box office at 421-ARTS.
