PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Thousands of people will flock to Roger Williams Park this weekend for The Rhode Island Indian Council's Annual Pow Wow.
American Indians from all over North and South America plan to attend.
This year the pow wow takes place July 21-22 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. both days.
There's a sacred fire planned that starts at sunup on Saturday and is kept lit until the pow wow ends on Sunday.
Attendees will enjoy more than 30 vendors, singing, storytelling, arts and crafts and Native food.
The pow wow is free and open to the public.
