It's that trouble area we all have but just can't seem to find a way to tone up.
Kayla Vernaglia from Mind Body Barre joined The Rhode Show to demonstrate some easy, at-home arm exercises.
***Note: You can use three pound weights for these exercises.
Shoulders
Stand shoulder width apart and tuck your hips forward toward the wall in front of you, creating a “C” curve with your core.
Using 3lb weights, bring your arms into a 90° angle or “L” position. Pulse up toward the ceiling for one full song (about 2.5 minutes) with a range of motion of about 1 inch.
Take breaks as needed.
Triceps
Lunge forward on your left leg and bend forward at your hips.
Keeping your back flat and core strong, bring your right arm behind you using a 2 or 3lb weight.
Gently pulse upward toward the sky for about 60 seconds with a range of motion of about 1 inch. Repeat 3x.
