Plant a succulent container garden

Sarah Partyka from The Farmer's Daughter came to speak about Succulent Container Gardens. One may picture plants like cactus and agaves only growing in the Southwest, but they can actually be grown anywhere!

Succulents are great for both indoors and outdoors, and need substantial sun and warmth. When placed inside of a container garden, make sure that they have adequate drainage.

They need to stay fairly dry, and shouldn't be exposed to a lot of rain or moisture. If they sit in a lot of water, they will rot. Succulents do enjoy a lot of sunlight, so keep them near a sunny window, and out of the shade.

All of the plants shown can be purchased at The Farmer's Daughter.
