(WPRI) -- Growing your own herb garden is actually not as difficult as it may sound, and Sarah Partyka from the Farmer's Daughter joined the Rhode Show to show us the do's and don'ts.
Herbs can be grown both indoors and outdoors, as long as the plants are getting enough sun.
"A sunny windowsill is perfect, or a little sun room. They'll be very happy in that situation," said Partyka.
One very important bit of information to know before getting started is the water requirement for the different types of herbs you'd like to plant so that you can properly water them. Also, be sure to use herbs that you love to cook with, so that when you're ready to make dinner you can go right outside and pick out what you need.
