Megan McGuinness from Twin River joined The Rhode Show to give all of the details on this week's hot happenings.

Lighthouse Bar will be rockin’ this weekend with FAST TIMES on Saturday night!

Saturday, June 9 at Lighthouse Bar: FAST TIMES- boasting wild hair, keytars, and all the stick twirls you can handle, their visual appeal can only be matched by their relentless musical output on stage. It is a complete 80's extravaganza of non-stop high energy, full costumes and top notch performance.  This is THE TOTALLY RAD 80's experience!! This show starts at 8:30 p.m. and as always, is free!

James Davis is at Catch a Rising Star this weekend!

If there was one phrase to describe James Davis it would be: Fresh to Death. Whether it's his look, on stage persona or writing style, James is always "Fresh."

God introduced James Davis to the power of comedy in high school. As financially aided black students in a predominantly white, upper-class private high school, they would use humor to create an atmosphere that was comfortable and safe to them. Many of James' earliest influences in comedy were classmates and fellow Boy Scouts. Mr. Davis' TV credits include BET's "Hell Date," Bill Bellamy's "Who's Got Jokes" and other MTV shows. He's written for the past three BET Awards and the past two BET Hip Hop Awards. James can be seen on the Comedy Central show "Russell Simmons Presents Stand-Up".

Friday at 8 p.m. – $22

Saturday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. – $22
