Newport Mansion's Wine & Food Festival

The Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival , September 21-23, is in its 7th year, supporting historic preservation in Newport. 

All proceeds go to The Preservation Society of Newport County, a non-profit organization that maintains 11 historic properties, including seven National Historic Landmarks.

Trudy Coxe, the Chief Executive Officer  of The Preservation Society of Newport County and Michael Greenlee, Principal Wine Curator of Amedeo Wines visited The Rhode Show to talk about the upcoming festival.

The festival includes Grand Tastings on the lawn of Marble House on both Saturday and Sunday.  

Tickets are still available for Sunday. Cooking demonstrations and book signing by celebrity chefs celebrity chefs Jacques and Claudine Pépin will headline the Celebrity Chef Cooking Pavilion at the Grand Tasting on Saturday, September 22;  and Emeril Lagasse will appear on Sunday, September 23.

Tickets also include:

• The admission price includes all wines over 100 wineries
• Food samplings from fine restaurants and caterers

• A souvenir glass and program,
• Free parking & shuttle transportation to and from the event.
