A pint-sized guitarist joined The Rhode Show to perform one of his own songs. Nine year old Nolan may be small, but the sound that comes out of his electric guitar is big, very big!
If you like the smooth sounds of Wes Montgomery or Pat Metheny, then you will want to head to The Met this weekend to hear him perform.
“I started playing after hearing music on the kids TV show The Wiggles," said Nolan.
He has taken classes to learn how to play, but for the most part he is self taught. From then on, the guitar was his love.
Now Nolan performs at clubs around the state with big named bands.
On Monday's The Rhode Show, Nolan played one of his own original songs called, “Do You Want to Be My Sweet Bee Tonight?”
The 9 year old has been playing at The Met now for over a year and a big favorite of local club owner Rich Lupo, along with Mark Cutler, Cris Vachon, Rudy Cheeks and many more.
If you want to hear Nolan this weekend you can check out the full schedule at The Met.
