American Idol star and Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis joined The Rhode Show along with multi-platinum recording artist and Grammy nominee Deborah Cox to talk about Jekyll and Hyde now on stage at the Providence Performing Arts Center.

After a four-year run on Broadway and multiple world-wide tours, the dark and dangerous love story from Tony and Grammy Award nominee Frank Wildhorn and Oscar and Grammy Award winner Leslie Bricusse returns with all its classic songs.

The show has been adjusted to suit the powerful vocals of its stars.

Constantine who has had a long run in many Broadway shows like Rent and Rock of Ages brought his own style to the show playing Jekyll and Deborah has sang on Broadway and worked with many legends in the business like Elton John, Andrea Boccelli and the late Whitney Houston.

The story of Jekyll and Hyde remains as timeless.

A devoted man of science, Dr. Henry Jekyll is driven to find a chemical breakthrough that can solve some of mankind’s most challenging medical dilemmas.

Going against the powers that be, he decides to make himself the subject of his own experimental treatments; accidentally unleashing his inner demons along with the man the world would come to know as Mr. Hyde.

This brand new direction and choreography are the work of Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun, who’s behind this season’s breakthrough Broadway hit, Newsies.

Tickets are still available to the show and you can purchase them buy call 401-421-ARTS or The Providence Performing Arts Center
