PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI)- Filmmakers, directors, and actors are encouraged to take part in this year’s 48 Hour Film Project. The event will take part in the summer and challenges movie lovers to create a masterpiece in just two days.
A winner will be selected to compete against films from around the world for the title of “Best 48 Hour Film of 2013”.
Corey Brailsford and Ray Harrington make up ‘Stand Up Films’ and are among those looking to take part in the project. They won awards for best director (Brailsford) and best actor (Harrington) for their short film during last year’s competition.
They continue to be successful both on and off screen. Harrington is set to release a CD on Tuesday, March 5, but is offering a special presale event at the Comedy Connection on Warren Avenue in East Providence March 1 and 2.
