(WPRI) -- Comedian, actor, writer, and director Bobcat Goldthwait is performing the at The Comedy Connection in East Providence this weekend in a show you don't want to miss!
This comic legend, with his one of a kind voice, started stand up at the age of 15, was out on the road working by the age of 18, and made his way to the stage on “The Late Show with David Letterman” by 20.
Bobcat has done it all. In the 80’s he made the jump from the comedy stage to the movie screen starring in films such as “Scrooged”, “Shakes the Clown”, “Blow,” with Johnny Depp, and “Police Academy. ”
Bobcat also has had big specials on HBO and hit shows like “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “That 70’s Show. ”
Although Bob doesn’t think he has had a great career many disagree.
He has also made the move into directing shows like “The Chappelle Show,” “The Man Show,” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.
