(WPRI) -- The Ocean State has a lot of activities to offer, from WaterFire to the Great Chowder Cook-Off and everything in between.
From shoreline to state line, Rhode Island festivals bring out the crowds, but what's your favorite? The Rhode Show decided to try and find out.
WaterFire lights up downtown with the familiar crackle of burning wood, but is this community event your pick for best festival?
Many love the Newport Folk Festival, could it win the title?
A newer annual draw Harborfest also brings crowds to the Newport waterfront, and while we're in the city by the sea, there's also the Great Chowder Cook-Off!
The chowder cook-off is an annual event that brings out droves of hungry people and their spoons ready to take on the task on choosing their favorite recipes, as well as restaurants ready to compete for bragging rights.
People also love to take a stroll through the landscaping and blooming displays at the Rhode Island Spring Flower and Garden Show in Providence.
Those with a creative eye love the Wickford Art Festival, which is an annual must-do.
Dedicated fans will tell you the Scituate Art Festival is the place to be.
Be sure to tune in to Rhode Island Monthly's Best of Rhode Island! It’s live Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on WPRI 12.
