This year there is a wide spectrum of roots music from blues and Americana, to Cajun and New Orleans R&B.
This weekends artist lineup:
The 15th anniversary bash has some special events this year. The workshop stage will be replaced by the Heritage stage which is bigger in size and can accommodate more attendees. This area will have popular workshops during the day on Saturday and Sunday as well as newly added special evening performances.
The family stage will have a variety of fun kid’s activities with storytelling, face painting, Mardi Gras mask making and more.
Camping is expected to sell out; therefore advanced sign up on the website is required.
“For the first time we’re on the verge of selling out of camping. If people want to get a hold of camping the best way is to do so online at www.rhythmandroots.com ,” said coordinator Chuck Wentworth.
