Summer is a time where many people take part in outdoor activities like golf and tennis. For many, they have not played these sports in months, so it’s important to get back in shape in order to improve their game and avoid injury.
Jill Tomich and Peter Lavelle from Ultimate Bootcamp visited the set with some exercise tips for strengthening the core. These muscles are used a lot throughout swinging motions of tennis and golf. Ultimate Bootcamp has just opened their Providence location and are excited to bring a new exercise option to the area.
Tomich says that for each exercise, 18 to 25 reps is a good amount. This will build up your muscle endurance. Jill and Peter demonstrated the following exercises:
