Seafood Fra Diavlo

With Chef Jodi McDonald of Scampi Restaurant

We're making Seafood Fra Diavlo with Chef Jodi McDonald of Scampi Restaurant.

INGREDIENTS:
12 Mussles
6 Little Necks
4 Shrimp
4 Scallops
1 Tsp. Olive Oil
1Tbsp. Chopped Garlic
1 Tsp. Chopped Shallots
½ Tsp. Crushed Red Pepper
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
½ cup White Wine
1 cup Seafood stock
1 cup Marinara
10 oz. Linguini
Crusty Bread
 

STEPS:
1. Saute oil, scallops, and shrimp.
2. In separate pan, steam shellfish with seafood stock until shells open in about 3 minutes.
3. When scallops and shrimp are cooked add garlic and shallots, sauté one minute then deglaze pan with wine.
4. Add seafood stock, shellfish, and marinara.
5. Let cook one minute, serve over pasta and a side of crusty bread.
