Celebrate National Running Day
Rock N Roll Half Marathon coming up in August

The Providence Rock N Roll Half Marathon is coming up in August, and if you've been thinking about registering, now's the time!
Chrissy Meagher, a running coach, joined The Rhode Show to talk more about the annual event.
National Running Day is held annually on the first Wednesday in June. It's a day when runners everywhere declare their passion for running.
It is a coast-to-coast celebration of a sport and activity that’s simple, inexpensive, and fun.
On National Running Day, Rock N Roll Half Marathon will be offering a $20 discount on ALL of their races (EXCEPT Las Vegas) so people are encouraged to sign up for Providence!
Also on June 6, The American Cancer Society is planning a fun run with the Boston Sports Club Downtown Providence. Runners will meet for a three to four mile run through downtown, along with stretching and warm-ups led by Boston Sports Club trainers and ACS coaches.
