PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Rhode Island Supreme Court could issue a decision Thursday on a disputed General Assembly primary decided by one vote.

The court heard arguments Wednesday from Lawyers for incumbent District 58 Rep. William San Bento and challenger Carlos Tobon.

San Bento was declared the winner by one vote, following multiple recounts at the Board of Elections last month. Tobon is seeking a manual recount.

Tobon said the supreme court would likely rule on Thursday.
