PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Rhode Island Board of Elections has scheduled an emergency hearing Wednesday morning on the District 58 Democratic Primary between Pawtucket Rep. William San Bento and challenger Carlos Tobon.

San Bento was ahead by a single vote, following multiple recounts at the Board of Elections Monday.

Tobon is expected to challenge the result of the recounts at Wednesday's hearing.

The winner of the primary will be unopposed on the November ballot.
