WAKEFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) - How do you cope with the loss of a loved one? It's even harder when you're a kid. Where adults might seek out a psychiatrist or group therapy -- a local annual summer mini-camp is giving local kids the chance to share memories and get through the grief together while enjoying the great outdoors.

At the YMCA's Camp Fuller in Wakefield, Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island and the Center for Grief held their fourth annual Camp BraveHeart this week for kids and teens, ages 5 to 17. As the kids told Eyewitness News's Walt Buteau in the story at left, it helps them feel better when they talk about the person they now have to get along in life without.

70 took part in this year's camp. HHCRI provides the activities free to those who need it, but also needs donations to keep the camp going; click here to go to their website and make a donation.
