EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - This week: Democratic state Representative Peter Kilmartin is running for attorney general.

As a retired police captain, attorney and prosecutor, Kilmartin comes with a solid legal resume.  But considering the budget mess and economy, could his near 20 years in the General Assembly be a political liability?

He reveals the story behind the story and what was left out of his Rhode Island Monthly profile on the Congressman.
