EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -

This week on Newsmakers, our conversations with candidates for governor continue with Democrat Patrick Lynch.

Fresh off the heels of the first televised debate – on WPRI12 – Attorney General Lynch attempts to close the statistical gap he’s facing with his primary challenger, General Treasurer Frank Caprio. Lynch highlights his plan for streamlining state government, addressing pension problems and weighs in on the latest controversy where an 8-year boy had his hat banned from elementary school over a no-weapons policy.
