(WPRI) - This week on Newsmakers, State Education Commissioner Deborah Gist gets into detail with her proposed funding formula. Rhode Island is the only state in the nation without a statewide formula for determining how aid is dispensed to school districts. Some cities and towns will see millions in extra cash, others will lose millions. Plus the latest on the teacher battle at Central Falls High School.
