EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - This week on Newsmakers: State Revenue Director Rosemary Booth Gallogy and Central Falls bankruptcy attorney Theodore Orson.

As the tiny city of Central Falls prepare to emerge from bankruptcy, state officials have to prepare to work with new leadership in the wake of a federal corruption probe into outgoing Mayor Charles Moreau. Orson said he does not think Moreau's indictment will affect the transition of power, but Gallogly points out the city needs to hold election in a tight timeframe in order to get a new leader in place for a January transition.

The city will remain under the watchful eye of state aufitors for the next five years when the bankruptcy plan is finalized in late October.
