This week on Newsmakers: Republican House Minority Leader Brian Newberry. For such a small caucus in the General Assembly, the state GOP has been making a lot of news in the past month. State Rep. Brian Newberry, Republican of North Smithfield, talks about the Rep. Daniel Gordon scandal and how he would like to see the House Speaker move to expel him. Newberry also explains his call for Republican Brendan Doherty to step down from the First Congressional Race. Then, pension reform: Newberry discusses potential cuts to cost of living increases and raising the retirement age.
