EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - This week on Newsmakers, education dollars are caught up in the middle of a fiscal fight on Smith Hill. So where will Rhode Island schools turn if federal money goes away down the road, and what can the state do to tackle the problems currently facing our education system? Guests Angus Davis of the Rhode Island Board of Regents, and James Parisi of the Rhode Island Federation of Teachers and Healthcare Professionals join the debate on Newsmakers.
