EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -

This week on Newsmakers: Congressman Jim Langevin. The U.S. Representative for Rhode Island’s second district reacts to the killing of Osama Bin Laden and what the secret raid means to the United States’ relationship with Pakistan. Langevin also weighs in on the decision by President Obama not to release the reportedly gory post-killing photo of the most wanted terrorist. As a member of the House Intelligence Committee and Armed Services Committee, Langecing echoes calls for the return of an exploded U.S. helicopter used in the raid and answers questions about there possibly being a secretive stealth helicopter. Also discussed: the looming budget deficit and calls to raise the debt ceiling.
