WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - Testimony began Tuesday in a Warwick courtroom on day two of a wrongful death suit filed by actor and Rhode Island native, James Woods.

Woods alleges Kent Hospital provided negligent care for his late brother, Michael.

Michael woods died suddenly at Kent Hospital after going into cardiac arrest  in July 2006. Woods had gone to the emergency room complaining of a sore throat and vomiting. James Woods argues the doctor in the emergency room missed obvious signs that his brother was having a heart attack.

On the stand Tuesday morning, Bonnie Yoder, a co-worker of Michael's told the jury what Michael Woods  told her just before he went to the hospital that day.

"I just can't shake this. There's something out of the ordinary wrong with me, because my throat really hurts. Its the weirdest pain i've ever had." said Yoder. She went on to demonstrate where Woods told her his throat was located.

Lawyers for Kent Hospital allege Woods denied any neck pain when he was in the emergency room.

The trial is expected to last three to four weeks.
