Police ID woman in Pawtucket death

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) - Pawtucket Police have identified a woman found lying unconscious late Tuesday night on West Avenue.

Police say Patricia Tremblay, 30, of 8 George Street, Pawtucket died on her way to Rhode Island Hospital.

Investigators found Tremblay lying in the street with a broken ankle just after 7 o'clock.. Origionally, investigators though she may had been struck by a car, but now say that is not the case.

Police tell us they are still awaiting the medical examiner's report. There's no word on what caused Tremblay's death, but say there is no sign of foul play.
