PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI)- - Confusing laws are causing Rhode Island to miss out on several wind turbine opportunities.
According to several local experts many opportunities are being lost because 39 cities and towns in the state all have different laws about on-shore turbuines.
Likewise, according to two local executives in the industry the laws confuse companies who want to build and install the turbines. Because of thisit could cause them not to build in the state.
